The Principals
James R. (Ronney) Henderson - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Henderson began his banking career in September, 1964, with the First
National Bank of Atlanta. Since then he has held a variety of executive positions
within the banking including being an organizer and initial Chairman of the
Board of Affinity Bank, Atlanta. In 1986, he was a co-founder of Intercept
Systems, serving as its President from May 1989 to June 1996, when he semi-retired.
In 1996, Mr. Henderson founded Cash Transactions, LLC, where he currently serves
as Chairman and Chief Exeuctive Officer. In June, 2002, Mr. Henderson became
a principal of Bank Capital Group, and was named Chairman and CEO in 2011.
Robert V. Brown - President
Mr. Brown joined Bank Capital Group in 2007 as a capital consultant. Since
that time, he has raised more than $75 million in new and additional capital
for community banks. In 2010 he was promoted to Senior Vice President. In
August, 2011, he became President. He has more than 25 years experience in
financial services with regional and national responsibilities including Security
Pacific Bank and Marine Midland Bank. He has traveled extensively and relocated
several times during his financial career. In addition, he has seven years
of success with capital fund raising in the non-profit area, raising more than
$25 million. He has also consulted with hospitals regarding disaster, recovery
and business continuity.
Michael Kerschner
Mr. Kerschner has been involved in the banking industry since 1974. From
January 1990 to September 2010, he served as President and CEO of Gillmor Financial
Services, Inc. From 1988 until July of 2007, he also served as President and
CEO of Old Fort Banking Corporation, and was CEO of Tiffin Savings Bank from
1984 to 1987. He has taught several courses for the BancOhio Educational Center.
He has served on many boards and committees, including the Community Bankers
Association of Ohio, the Ohio Bankers League, the Independent Community Bankers
Association, the Federal Legislative Committee, the Great Lakes Bankers Bank,
the Tiffin Area Chamber of Commerce, and many other organizations. He is the
past Chairman and an Organizer of the Panther Community Bank, and the current
Vice Chairman of First National Bank of the Gulf Coast. He has been instrumental
in raising capital for a number of denovo banks in Florida, Ohio and Louisiana.
His association with BCG began in 2007.
Stan Taylor - Founder
Mr. Taylor led the organization of four different community banks throughout
the Southeast, acting as President and CEO of three of them. He also managed
a $250-million community bank investment fund that returned in excess of 33%
per year to its investors. Mr. Taylor was President of Bank Capital Group from
its inception until his death in 2010.
